After an intense training session, it is important that you get adequate sleep. This will negate any bad or side effects of the training. When you wake up in the morning, you should feel fresh. However, if you wake up feeling tired, you may be suffering from sleep disturbance caused by overtraining. It is something that you should immediately take steps to rectify as gradually you will start displaying other symptoms of overtraining and the worse will be a decrease in your performance.
