Effects Of Not Having Safe Sex
Safe sex can be described as the practice of having sexual activity in a manner where one reduces the risk of contracting any infectious particles by making sure that he/she does not get anyone his or her partner’s blood, semen, vaginal fluids or breast milk in his/her body.

The most effective safe sex method is the usage of a lubricated latex condom. It is important to use a condom while doing any type of sexual activity. Another important safe and intelligent sex practice is to use a water-based lubricant during an anal or vaginal intercourse. This is because oil-based lubricants are not effective since they tend to break the latex and permit direct skin contact.

Safe sexual practices are a right way of getting protection from sexually transmitted diseases.  There are certain benefits of having safe sex. Some of these are listed below.

  1. Condoms prevent the transmission of potentially dangerous pathogenic organisms such as HIV and HPV during a sexual contact.
  2. Having safe sex prevents the occurrence of almost every type of sexually transmitted disease.
  3. Safe sexual practices prevent any unwanted pregnancies.
  4. Unprotected anal sex is a high-risk activity regardless of sexual orientations. Anal and rectum are very thin tissues surrounded by an intricate network of blood capillaries. These tissues can get damaged easily during an anal intercourse. Slight injury to the anal region increases the risk of getting infected with potentially dangerous microorganisms like HIV and HPV. This risk increases further when one tends to have unsafe sex.

Another effect of not having safe sex is that it puts the other person or partner in the danger of getting a sexually transmitted disease.
