Here are a couple of easy yoga positions for beginners that you can think about doing by yourself without guidance from an instructor.
Yoga Positions for Beginners:Mountain Pose: Like with any other exercise, make sure you do a warming up exercise. The best for this yoga position is stretching your toes and rolling your ankles. Now stand straight and make sure that your weight is evenly distributed to the four corners of your feet. Move your shoulder blades down into your back. Tighten your thighs but make sure you do not lock your knees. Allow the tension to drain out of your face. Keep your arms relaxed. Now concentrate on your breathing so that your breath is channelized from your lower abdomen into your nose.
Warrior Pose I: Take the same starting position as the one described in Mountain pose. Now spread your legs. They should be around 3.5 to 4 feet apart. Make sure your spine is straight and your pelvis is lifted but not titled forward. Bring your right foot to a 90 degrees angle and your left foot should be at 45 degrees angle. As you exhale, bend your body over your right leg. Hold the position for 30 seconds. As you exhale, first straighten your right leg and then your left leg. Now change position and do the exercise with the left foot.
